The central backbone of our church family is called "Sunday School." It is only at the small group level that you will begin to build relationships with the Word of God and the People of God. We call it “Fellowship,” or simply “connecting.” Sunday School Life Groups and Elevation C-groups are the community of our church. It’s where friendships are born. It’s where challenges are prayed over. It’s where laughter and tears are shared.
Through these dynamic relationships, we not only learn about God together, but the experiences we share outside of Bible Study form a tightly-woven tapestry of relationships that will last for eternity.
Since our Grey Stone Family includes a variety of folks, our Life Group options recently expanded to offer several "Tracks" for the 2012 year. Each track is offered in each Life Stage to suit the needs of our attenders and is open group (attend any session) and will cover a variety of resources for Biblical Literacy, Spiritual Growth, and Real-Life Application!
As you know, life comes with a series of challenges, joys, and sometimes, sorrow. These experiences stretch us in ways that God uses to help us grow...and to be equipped to help others who experience those same matters in their lives. By utilizing God’s Word: The Bible; and the care and experiences of others, we try to make the most of our faith by offering SoulCare Groups and Recovery Courses. Disciple-making is the focus of our commitment to “Build People Up.”
At Grey Stone, we offer a variety of Support Groups and environments for every age. These groups are offered at various times, so check here often to see what’s happening.
Grey Stone's mission is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission (found in Matthew 28:18-20). Our strategy is found in Acts 1:8. Followers of Jesus are all a part of the task to fulfill the Great Commission and be His Witnesses. Through praying, giving and going, we strive to make a difference in our local community and our world by offering local, domestic, and international opportunities to serve others and share Jesus Christ. We have unique challenges and opportunities to reach the world through acts of kindness, compassion projects, relief teams, and evangelism efforts.
